      Excellent germination rate. My deer in Ontario love it. Plot is beautiful. Best I have ever created. Can't wait for the rut!

      I had some patches in my Imperial Clover plot as I sowed it by hand last summer rather than use a broadcast spreader. I won’t make that mistake again. After reading an article on Frost seeding on the Canadian Whitetail Food Plot facebook page, I called them to get more details on this practice as I had never heard of it before. After some helpful tips with their head food plot specialist. He was very knowledgeable and I was convinced to try and cover up those patches with their Chic Magnet blend of chicories. Doing so would bring the already high protein levels of 33% in my existing clover to 44% by frost seeding in the chicory mix. By the end of turkey season, both the deer and turkeys were hitting it hard. Even the newborn fawns are now picking away at it. I plan to hold more deer on my property this year with these amazing plants. Frost seeding will become an annual maintenance practice for all my perennial plots. I have tried other food plot seeds in the past and none of them come close to the success that I have had with Whitetail Institute!
