Imperial Alfa-Rack Plus (Perennial)

I live in Saskatchewan and have planted Alfalfa from the local agri store for many years. After planting 4 acres on my plots of the Imperial Alfa-Rack side by side to 4 acres of the farming seeds variety, I could not believe how much more time the deer spend on the Imperial Whitetail blend. We have a lot of deer and I was concerned overgrazing would kill the Imperial Whitetail plots as is often the case with the agricultural seed that I have been using. But this stuff bounces right back no matter what the grazing pressure is like. The deer love the blends of protein from the clovers and chicory in the mix. I just fertilize it annually in the spring and late fall. I have had the 4 acres planted for 4 years now. I will be tilling it to plant some Winter Greens annuals this summer for some fall and winter plots. I will come back to the Alfa-Rack next year for 4 more consecutive years to keep up with my crop rotation. Amazing product!!!!!

This blend is like an assorted buffet for my buffet my deer with super high protein levels. I have two fields measuring 1 acre each 300 yards apart and the deer trade from one plot to the other at all times of the day and night. They love the alfalfa, chicory and belnds of clover. I used to plat 100% Whitetail Imperial clover but after speaking with the staff at CWFP, they convinced me to try the A-RACK since I had the proper soil conditions to grow this blend. Best decision I ever made for my food plots!

This blend is like a buffet for my deer. I planted a cover crop of Forage Oats Plus and Alfa-Rack as instructed from the staff at Canadian Whitetail Food Plots in early September and it grew amazing. The deer really hit the Oats hard as they grew to about a foot tall. The following spring the Oats and Alfa-Rack came back strong and fast one the snow melted. I did a little frost seeding on the plot with some Imperial Clover in late March before the snow melted. I was told to bush hog the Oats at the end of Turkey season. Once I did that the clovers and chicory and alfalfa came up beautifully without hardly any weeds. I killed my 2 turkeys off of this plot and had deer feeding in it like crazy all summer and fall. Love this company. I will be planting a new annual plot this summer. Can't wait to see the results. Great deer nutrition and well worth the price.

I have tried planting food plot seed blends of perennials for my deer for the past 10 years always skimping on quality thinking why should I pay more for alfalfa seeds when they are all the same. I have always been told that alfalfa is alfalfa and the deer will eat it. Believing that, why should I pay more? Boy was I proven WRONG this spring! This product germinates super fast when planted and grows thick and tall and lush. The deer love it and I have never had this many deer visiting my food plots. I have turkeys and grouse feeding in it and the bees are all over the clover flowers. Adore this blend. Nothing else like it on the market.
