Imperial Clover - INCROYABLE

Imperial Clover
Johathan – QC I never thought that creating food plots without any experience would lead to such a successful perennial planting. I planted this plot with Imperial Whitetail Clover in early May and it surpassed all of my expectations. I ordered the seeds from the Canadian Whitetail Food Plot site but then called their office and spoke with John for some guidance. He took an hour of his time to go over everything that I needed to do and know to be as successful as possible with the products. I knew nothing about food plots for whitetails and I feel that I have gained 10 years of experience and knowledge in that conversation alone. I have since called back asking for advice and they are always available for me to help with suggestions and tips. By looking this picture, you can see that their advice and products are working. I followed all the instructions that I was given and didn’t take any shortcuts. We decided to shape the plot this way as I am mostly a bow hunter and we felt that it needed to be narrow and not a big open field. I can’t wait to see how the deer take to it. We don’t have a large deer population but I have no doubt that the deer will be making more frequent visits on my 40 acres than they have been in the past. I hope to keep the deer longer on my property than at the neighbors who only bait and do not practice food plots for deer. Plus, I feel better knowing that I am helping the deer herd in providing some quality nutrition. Next year, an additional 1-acre annual plot will be planted 200 yards from this clover plot. I can’t wait to try the Winter Greens as I read that the deer smash the brassicas and turnips. Thanks, CWFP for all of your valuable advice, guidance and amazing service and to Whitetail Institute for making such a premium product. I will recommend it to all the hunters at my club!

Soon to be Food Plot expert!
What can I say about Canadian Whitetail Food Plots and Whitetail Institute products, they are remarkable and I feel they will be a game changer. I have 100 acres in Central Eastern Ontario, which I have hunted for the last 10 years without food plots. We don’t have a good food source but we do have water, so we are hunting game that I think are passing through the property to a bedding area or a food source. My son in law and nephew are much younger than I am and are up to date on the latest trends and technology, they kept telling me to try food plots and see what happens, I might be surprised. So, this year I cleared and prepped about 6 small food plots to see what would happen. I am no farmer by any means but followed the advice of John adding Lime to the soil, getting rid of weeds and all competition, tilling the soil and adding 10-10-10 fertilizer when seeding. The seeds have been touching soil for 2 weeks now and the clover is growing quite well, the brassicas is just starting to come up but now I have a problem. The deer and moose are crushing the clover now before it has a chance to grow more than 4 inches. I have never seen so much activity around so early. This prompted me to put all 6 of my trail cams out in front of the food plots to monitor activity. I can only imagine what is going to happen once everything really starts to grow. I have a cow moose and a calf that found 2 of my food plots and will not leave. Trail Cam pick after trail cam pick of them at night, during the day just standing in the middle of the plots. Doe after Doe with fawns enjoying their new found buffet. So, I have done 2 things, one, I contacted my son in law and my nephew and have eaten my humble pie and admitted they were right and I should have done this years ago, and second, I reached out to John for some advice on what to do next to make sure I keep them fed and around for hunting season. At this rate they could quite possibly eat me out of house and home in no time. I have just ordered some Chicory to do a second seed and fill in the bare spots which will hopefully take some of the pressure off the other forage and give them a source of food in different stages of growth. What a problem to have and since this is my first go around, I will definitely keep doing this next year and probably expand a few of the plots. The thing that is also concerning to me is that no other land owner around me plant food plots and I can see all their deer and wildlife coming to my 100-acre buffet. I can only imagine what they will think, and what happens when the turkeys find these plots, they will all need to make a reservation for dinner. In closing, this is definitely a game changer and I strongly recommend that everybody should try this, as I stated before I am not a farmer so it just takes a little bit of work to prep the land and then John’s seed will do the rest. Very excited and looking forward to the upcoming season and we are only in July. The company is easy to deal with, they know their stuff, have great products and the service is thorough and fast. Might need to invest in a bigger property so I can try all their seed products and also a bigger freezer as well. Thanks again and I will keep you posted.

Clover
Working well in Nova Scotia Canada. Recommend heavier seeding amounts for my area.

Imperial whitetail clover
Planted imperial clover for my first attempt at a larger food plot and very impressed with how well it’s growing. The deer love it and it seems to be very graze resistant. Can’t wait to see how it holds up in the fall.

There's clover...
First year of planting it and it came in pretty good. Had a pretty bad drought, but it held up. I since have overseeded it and am hoping that will fill in some of the gaps. Interested to see how this comes back in the Spring of next year.

Imperial Whitetail clover
Absolutely the best thing I’ve ever planted.

Can't scare the deer off it!!
I will be buying more, the deer won't get off this clover. It did kinda surprise me how hard the deer are grazing this... all spring long they have been on it in the morning and evening. Amazing!

Clover
Unbelievable! It germinated in only 2 days and there is clover growing everywhere on my small deer plot. I heard it was good stuff, but wow! Look no further, it's the real deal.
