Imperial Whitetail Revive makes phosphorous and other key nutrients more available in the soil; phosphorous (N) is one of the three main soil nutrients that plants need, along with nitrogen and potassium. All soils have some phosphorous in an available form that plant roots can absorb, but the majority of soil phosphorous is in an unavailable (insoluble) form that the plants can’t access. Revive roots release acidic compounds that help convert some phosphorous from the unavailable to ‘’available’’ form.
Revive is a blend of specially selected Buckwheat and Sorghum designed as a soil revitalization crop, it is Not primarily a forage for deer.
- Releases Bound Nutrients - Besides making phosphorous more available in the soil to the next crop grown after Revive, Revive improves the soil by making it more mellow allowing the soil to become easier to till or plant into.
- Suppresses unwanted weeds - Revive is one of the better crops for smothering and suppressing weeds. Access to herbicides in Canada is next to impossible unless you are licensed making Revive a game changer in suppressing and controlling weeds.
- Improves Soil structure - The WINA62 Sorghum in Revive has extensive root systems allowing access to N (phosphorous) that is deeper in the soil, helping to prevent leaching. Then, the N (phosphorous) can become available to subsequent crops as disked down residues decompose.
- Revive is a warm-season annual.
