Imperial Winter Peas Plus (Annual)

I own a small parcel, 22 acres. Most of it is good bedding and some timber (primarily poplar). Two years ago, I opened up about a 1/3 acre plot. My property is not big enough to hold big bucks. I butt up against mostly ag and train tracks. I have a doe who usually produces twin fawns yearly and a few other transient does that regularly visit the property. My hunting season is generally restricted to the rut when then does pull the bucks in. This blend is only been in the ground for 3 weeks and I have already noticed an uptick in deer movement. Excited to see what October brings in once the plot is more established. I plan on overseeding cereal rye as the plot is getting hammered. I’ve also have a hen and her babies frequently the plots. Already planning on making the plot bigger for the next time I plant this. Third time doing plots, so far I’ve used Pure Attraction, Beets and Greens and now Winter Peas. This is my fifth season hunting in this property and planting food plots, particularly WI has given me great results. On forums, people complain about expensive seed blends that aren’t different from seeds from local co-ops. I personally can’t find any seed in my area that’s cheaper for food plots, (usually need minimum acreage requirements for the discounts). I’m also a big fan of if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. I’ll be sticking with WI for the foreseeable future. Not only am I looking at making my kill plot larger but also looking into adding a few .5 acre plots for spring planting.

I started planting this a few years ago and had to enlarge my plot because the deer were totally overgrazing the peas. That's a problem I have never had before with any of my other food plots. This product is amazing! VERY PLEASED with RESULTS!!

I planted this for the first time last August simply following the directions at the back of the bag. It grew so quickly and the deer just could not stay out of it. I have never held as many deer of the property. I just bought this blend again only for 2 acres this time as I doubled the size of my plot since the deer cleaned out the 1 acre plot by late November last year. I am so impressed by Whitetail Institute products, wish I would have known about them sooner. You won't be disappointed!

This will be my 3rd year of planting Winter Peas Plus, the deer just destroy it. This year I am doubling the size of my Winter Peas plot. Great fall mix!

I have been planting this mix for 4 years since I was told about it. The deer absolutely love it on my property. This year I expanded my plot from 3/4 acre to 1.5 acre as the deer clean out the plot every time before the end of December. Great blend for Ontario Whitetails!
