Imperial Winter-Greens (Annual)

Planted these two years ago and had fantastic results so I figured I’d go back to them this year. I could not be more excited about the growth and germination rate. The turnips left after the greens are gone provide food well into winter and attract new bucks to my property regularly searching for food.

I have tried every Brassica mix available on the Canadian market. Imperial Winter-Greens has provided me with the best results and has completely surpassed my expectations. The deer devour it, it is incredibly winter tolerant and the carbs for the deer's benefits are very high. Great company, great products, great results. I am a lifetime customer!

My all time favorite WINA annual blend! When mother nature provides the rain, these brassicas have grown waist tall and provided tons of tonnage for my deer. I try and have some Winter Greens every year on my property.

My favorite annual planting! The deer destroy these brassica and turnips. It grows fast and is easy to establish and last late into the winter.

What a surprise!!! These plants grew past our waist by early November. The plot provided incredible tonnage and the deer even dug through the December and January snow to get to the brassicas. It's been go-time since the 1st frost. The deer killing it last fall and winter. Tallest growing brassica plants that I have ever grown. Even with a foot of snow on the ground by Nov. 1st, the deer dug it out.

After a conversation with the consultant at Canadian Whitetail Food Plots last summer, he convinced me to plant Imperial Winter-Greens side by side in a 2 acre plot with another seed company that I had been using with limited success. So I planted 1 acre of each brand next to one another. I could not believe how many times during my sits in my stand the deer would walk through the other brand without even putting their heads down rushing to get to the Imperial Whitetail brand! You get amazing attraction and nutrition with these seeds from Whitetail institute. I am a lifetime customer!

Killed a stud of a buck this AM in my snow covered winter-greens brassica plot. This buck has been feeding nocturnally i this 2 acre plot for the past week and made a mistake at 9:05 AM today following a hot doe making her way into the plot. We have had over 10 deer since early October feeding regularly in this plot. Love this brand, my dad and I will be planting more Whitetail Institute plots in the spring.
